Max Peterson admitted his disappointment following Los Lobos’ defeat to Boston Bolts yesterday evening.
FC Malaga City New York trailed 1-0 in the first half, before the game came to an abrupt end due to unforeseen weather conditions.
After a series of lightning storms, the referee made the decision to conclude the match after 50 minutes - with Boston Bolts taking home all three points.
“We are all disappointed to have the game end before the 90 minutes and that we didn’t get any points,” he said.
“That being said, we must remain positive and we are excited to have another chance to beat Boston this coming Tuesday.
“We came out in the second half with a different intensity and we intend to start that way in the next game, imposing ourselves on the opponent.”
Peterson, who has played for our partner senior team CD Almuñecar City this season, shared it has not been an easy start to the campaign with Los Lobos.
“Starting the beginning of the season was not easy for me personally because I was struggling with a muscle injury,” he continued.
“Since my recovery I feel confident, and I know can help this team win games.
“Next week we face Boston Bolts at home and we are all buzzing for it.
“We will take the weekend to regroup, and come out firing on Tuesday.”
