Pathfinder Academy combines advances in technology, evidence-based learning, and feedback from leaders in the workforce to create an environment that prepares students to be truly successful; success that can be seen, measured, and felt through high school, college, and beyond while balancing academics and personal interests.

We blend a technology enabled education environment with onsite core discipline tutors, and a full-time academic coordinators.  Our academic coordinators will design engaging collaborative projects for the students to work on as a team.  These projects will mix core curriculum concepts with volunteerism, civics, and leadership.

Our goals are straightforward. We want to help our students:

  • Recognize and organize their own learning system–their way of acquiring, processing, and structuring information.

  • Be precise in thought and communication. Eliminate the noise and identify the signal.

  • Be confident in managing situations where there are lots of unknowns.

  • Be able to self-direct inquiry with an independent, entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Develop the skills, confidence, and initiative to create and execute their plans.

We offer a full suite of core curriculum, AP®, honors, elective, dual credit, and concept and credit recovery courses for middle and high school students.

Our courses and curriculum are built using an instructional model grounded in research and are aligned to state standards, the Common Core, and the NGSS. We combine direct-instruction videos featuring expert, on-screen teachers, an in-person teachers / classroom environment with in-person tutors, with rigorous assignments, performance tasks, and assessments to engage students and ensure subject-area mastery.

Students transferring into the Academy will need to request a records transfer from their current school district.  Please use this form to make a formal request for records.
